Under the Mission and Pastoral Measure 2011, it has been proposed that the benefices of Maker with Rame, Millbrook, St John & Torpoint, St Germans with Antony & Sheviock, will all be united into one new benefice called ‘Rame & Rivers’ (a name chosen by consulting members from all of those churches).

Both periods of public consultation have now passed, representations have been heard and clarifications sought. We expected to hear a final decision from the Church Commissioners in December 2024.

Following due process, the Scheme was approved and the new benefice came into being on the 1st February 2025.
